Icelandic Championship: Senior's team win the championship
Icelandic
Curling Championship, which has been ongoing since January 31, finished last wednesday. Team Fimmtiuplus, a
selection of seniors going to Greenacres in Scotland later this month for the Senior World Cup, swept away all their
competition and won the tournament with a full house. Eight games, eight wins and 16 points insured the cup for the
seniors a week before the tournament was finished. No team was even near them. Silver medal goes to team Kústar (Brooms)
with 11 points and bronze medal to team Skytturnar (Musketeers) with 9 points.
