Gimli Cup played in September

Six teams from Akureyri Curling Club started last week competing for the Canadian rooted trophy called Gimli Cup. Usually we have held this tournament in the spring time but it was moved to September becaus of our first international tournament, Ice Cup, in last April.

After 3 games Team Garpar has the lead with 3 wins and last night they had a 7-ender but strangely the only won two ends in the game and their opponents won 4 ends.
