News 2003 October 7th, 2003: After a long, long wait since the end of last season in beginning of may, curling players in Akureyri started the 2003-2004 season last night. Ice machines in the arena had to be replaced due to malfunction, which caused about a month delay of starting the season. But now we are back, ready to outwit each other, sweep like hell and sweat all winter. Better practice well for the next weeks due to our participation in Taarnby Cup 2003 in november. Looking forward to visit Johannes, Kirsten, Finn and all the others. Good curling! |
